Upon Leaving you now until the next time, I leave you with these words:
In June’s green hush, the herbs arise,
With velvet leaves and lullaby sighs.
They do not shout, they softly mend,
The weary heart they gently tend.
Soft is the power of petal and leaf,
Whispering balm, unraveling grief.
A spoon of tea, a breath, a pause—
Healing comes without applause.
Let the herbs of June be your hush,
A hand upon the back of rush.
In every steeped and scented sip,
Is nature’s kiss upon your lip.
